MEET DR. LEE

Dr. Quentin J. Lee

Dr. Quentin J. Lee has been employed with the Talladega County School system for the last 14 years. He has served as the Band Director of Talladega County Central High School, Assistant Principal of Childersburg Middle School, Principal of Talladega County Central High School, and now the Principal of Childersburg High School. Quentin Lee is originally from Scottsboro Alabama and currently resides in Oxford AL. He is the second of six sons born to the late Edna Ruth Stone. He holds a B.S. is Instrumental Music Education from Alabama A&M University, Masters Degree Instructional Leadership from Samford University, Educational Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership from Jacksonville State University, and a Doctoral Degree from Samford University in Educational Leadership. He is currently featured on the brochure for the Graduate Studies Education Department at Samford University.

Dr. Lee’s time at TCCHS was well spent as he helped the school get off of the failing school list within one year. He also initiated the “House” system, which promoted unity among campus while decreasing discipline referrals.

Dr. Lee is a member of Church of the Highlands and serves at the Oxford Campus as Leader of the Baptism Team with his wife, and participates with the Worship Team, and Small Groups.

He is married to Dr. Anita C. Lee who is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Dr. Lee has 3 wonderful children; Kiesha Lee, a student at Highlands College, Cass Lee, II a six year old that that is in First Grade and has already developed a love for education by beginning reading at the age of 4, and Little Miss Aniya Lee who is a sassy and sometimes bossy 4 year old that has mastered counting, colors, loves dancing, and being absolutely adorable.

Quentin Lee is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity Incorporated. He is affiliated with the CLAS (Council for Leadership in Alabama Schools), AEA (Alabama Education Association), Dynamic Learning Project- Administrator, the National Association of Secondary School Principals, Our Voice Academy, and a Central Alabama 40 Under 40 inaugural class member. Quentin Lee is a board member for the Alabama Childhood Food Solutions program.

Dr. Lee is writing a series of children's books to help young children deal with serious life issues.

Quentin believes that his mission in life is to honor God by giving back to others and helping in any way that he can.
