I worked on a Poem about ‘colorful rain'
The prompt:
write a short poem include the element of: colorful rain, time and city. this is for a class task where the poem will be used as a prompt for image generation.
Chromatic Shower in the Urban Hourglass
The city exhales—
colorful rain spills,
magenta streaks on neon signs,
cyan bleeds the concrete hills.
Clock hands drip slow,
time dissolves in the glaze,
a saffron drop kisses the awning,
the street’s a watercolor maze.
Puddles hold amber,
and the sky’s a bruised violet sigh—
the city doesn’t rush,
it lets time paint, and cry.
City of Colorful Rain
Beneath the clock’s unblinking eye,
the city hums in silver sighs.
Time drips softly down the lane,
painting streets with colorful rain.
Neon puddles bloom and gleam,
mirrors of a fleeting dream.
Moments blur, then fade away—
time dissolves in hues of gray.
Yet through the storm, the colors stay,
a heartbeat bright in skies of clay.
The city breathes, alive again,
reborn beneath the colorful rain.
