The primary assignments of the committee will be to:
Review the NEST materials and provide advice, comments, and general improvement recommendations to the NEST program leadership
Focus on how to increase engagement aligning with the NEST business plan
How to increase alumni outreach?
How to increaes student chapter involvement?
How to increase industry engagement?
Introduce NEST to the Convention body and highlight the changes made by the committee
Determine the NEST Challenge for the 2025-2026 academic year
Determine and announce the winner from the 2024-2025 NEST competition
Review Poster Presentation
Review Design Reports
Support Alumni Judges at the Pitch Event
This committee will hold its first meeting at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 30. One of the NEST program founders, Chris Potts, and a District Director will serve as advisors to this group. They will preside over the opening meeting and will ask the group to select the chair, who must be an appointed member of your committee.
Your chair will present the committee's report to the Convention at the Second Business Meeting on Friday afternoon. This committee is responsible for informing the Convention of all background information it needs to act upon your report and recommendations.
The NEST competition winner will be awarded at the Chapter Awards Banquet on Saturday evening. Be prepared to present that award.
Please provide electronic copies of all files, motions, reports, and proposals to the Convention Chair and Executive Director via email (tbp.convbus@tbp.org) prior to the Business Meeting when a report will be presented.
