The primary assignments of the committee will be to:
Draft a 1-page promotional handout for recruiting new advisors.
Develop a 1-page “cheat sheet” for HQ staff to distribute via eNotes every August specifically to advisors.
Hold an open forum discussion where committee members can raise challenges they are facing as an advisor, and other advisors can provide helpful insights and suggestions. Document the topics discussed.
Identify an optimal medium for advisors to interact outside of meetings, provide advice, and share best practices.
Provide recommendations for advisor programming at district conferences.

This committee will hold its first meeting at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 30. Some District Directors will serve as advisors to this group. The advisors to the committee will preside over the opening meeting and will ask the group to select the chair, who must be an appointed member of your committee.
Your chair will present the committee's report to the Convention at the Third Business Meeting on Saturday morning. This committee is responsible for informing the Convention of all background information it needs to act upon your report and recommendations.
Please provide electronic copies of all files, motions, reports, and proposals to the Convention Chair and Executive Director via email (tbp.convbus@tbp.org) prior to the Business Meeting when a report will be presented.
