Peserverance is helpful when your trying to achieve anything whether its a personel goal or a task that needs to be done. I believe that no one will get far in life with having a but of perserverance in their character. If you were to fail something the first time around you would need lots of perserverance to conqour your goal.
I chose Mark Knopfler because I didn't really know which one of the people I look up to that actually struggled. Then I remembered watching a video about Mark Knopfler and how he named his band ( Dire Straits) after the financial condition they were in.
When I looked more into it I discovered they had more then just financial struggles over the years, these including struggles with playing the songs as well as arguments the had. But despite this they still managed to produce some of the most famous albums of all time including their debut album Sultans of Swing. Mark Knopfler leas the band through all this and even when the Dire Straits stopped playing he carried on and wrote even more music. He is one of the greatest musicians and guitar players of all time.
A time when I demonstrated perseverance towards a goal once was when I was learning the intro to the Metallica song, nothing else matters on guitar.It took me a few goes, I had a big break from when the first time I try'd to learn the song and when I attempted it a second time. The second time I successfully learnt it. My motivation was the fact that my older sister could play it and I thought if she could do it so could I. Another thing was me reading all the comments in videos and seeing how people said they learnt it.
How did Perseverance help me in working towards my Goal this term? Perseverance helped me this term to keep going every day knowing I would eventually get better.
How did Perseverance help me in other areas of my life (outside of PE lessons)? If you take what you learnt and apply it to basically anything else it will help you in anything.
How does Perseverance affect each dimension of your Hauora? Perseverance is probably connected to every aspect of a Hauora and like anything else if you use the same rules it will help you improve.
