letter to the editor:

To whom it may concern

I am shocked by the mental health of students at school. Many students at schools have bad mental health and it seems it's only getting worse and worse.

20 percent of teens experience mental health problems. This is frankly shocking that so many of our youth must go through all this. This has led to many students being depressed or even taking their own lives. This is unacceptable but these are the problems teens have to go through and it is horrendous. What leads teens to take their own lives is a highly complex subject with many factors such as pressure from school with too much work to be done or at home from possible abuse physically and mentally or neglect.

To fix this problem, we should help students suffering from this know that it's alright to talk about what they are feeling. Many students suffering from these problems feel like they can't talk about them. We could educate these students about how they are not alone and that there are many recourses out there made to help them with their problems such as support groups, helplines and counselling.

Yours sincerely

elevator pitch:

Hello I am Amiteez and today Im gonna show you my innovation which is a digital virtual reality museum.

The problem I'm trying to solve with my innovation is preserving and displaying historical artifacts. History is a great thing and should be preserved and protected at all costs but many of our artifacts and other historical items are being destroyed. Many artefacts and statues have been destroyed like the Colossus of Rhodes and the statue of Mulla Uthman al-Mawsili, of a woman carrying an urn, and of Abu Tammam which were destroyed by isis so those ones were recent. The reason that these marvels of history being destroyed is bad is because not only do we lose such cool things of our past we also lose apart of ourselves. These artefacts are apart of our of us as humanity when we lose these arefacts we lose apart of our past and our story as a species a story that ou ancestors tried so hard to tell. So with all that said my innovation can make sure that all of these marvels of history are preserved although not physically but they will be there for future generations to see.

My innovation although only having one purpose can still be very useful and help people in many ways. For one travelling is expensive and can even be dangerous like Iraq isn't the best tourist hotspot currently. My innovation can make it so you can see these artefacts from your home with your VR headset. And it's very sustainable for the environment cause it's literally a digital museum. The VR museum would be an app on a vr Appstore and the estimated cost that I believe it would take to develop the app would be 20,000 to 40,000 dollars. And this innovation would help not just us but future generations who would also be interested in history to come making sure that history will truly not be forgotten. So I ask you, judges, for 40,000 dollars for 15 percent.
