2023 RESULTS

NOTE: CAN SCHOOLS PLEASE ADVISE THEIR STUDENTS AND FAMILIES THEY ARE NOT PRACTICE ON THE COURSE PRIOR TO THE DATE AS IT IS PRIVATE PROPERTY AND WE DO NOT HAVE APPROVAL TO DO SO.

Friday 1st September 2023

Please note the girls run the same distances as boys.

Please be familiar with the list of hazards displayed on the gate into the paddock.

Can teachers please familiarize runners with the course; this will mean walking them before 9.45am.

The course is well marked and again this year there are hurdles and drain jumps.  The hurdles must be jumped over; you can use your hands on top if you wish.

Teachers are responsible for getting runners to their starts on time, can all runners in each group move to their start and then wait as each year group starts their individual race.  eg all junior boys be at START A together as the last of the Midgets are finishing.

Can all marshals meet at the recorders tent at 9.30am for a talk about their role and to be allocated a position?

All participant must wear a name tag (see name tag on this site) these will be collected off the first 30 placings at the finish line.

All marshals need a high visibility vest. We have some to lend.

Runners can run in bare feet or shoes.

Year 7 & 8's are run in separate year levels.

Girls run before boys.

The first 10 runners’ home will have their names places recorded the next 20 placings the school name will be recorded.

Please place all rubbish in the bins provided.

Toilets are at the school at the back of the swimming pool. NO ACCESS TO THE OFFICE TOILETS THIS YEAR.

There is a drinking fountain in the bottom veranda area.

Please keep off our school vegetable gardening area.

There is a First Aid Kit in the recorders tent.

NO runner is to go down the river bank, the river is unfenced and is running very high and the banks are very slippery. There will be marshals along the river to watch that all runners are safe.

There is no prize giving, results will be posted on here and sent to the schools.
