Throughout the Research Project, students will need to record their thoughts and reflections. A series of journal entries is an appropriate way to do so and contributions should be made throughout the subject, to highlight the development of your ideas, key findings and understanding.
· What research topics have you considered so far and why?
· Discuss the pros and cons of each possible research topic.
· What research topic/question have you decided upon and why?
· What methods did you use to refine your topic into a question?
· What research methods will you use to gather information?
· What primary/secondary sources could you use?
· List possible interviewees, places to visit etc. for your topic.
· What ethical considerations do you need to make during your research?
· What capabilities will you focus on and why have you chosen them?
· What skills/knowledge do you hope to develop throughout your project?
· What potential challenges will there be throughout your project?
Students must also include a journal to demonstrate how their knowledge, skills and capabilities have developed over time.
