We're curating and cultivating worship music that is musically diverse and theologically rich.
Why?
Because we long to see the entire body of Christ worship God with music that they love and that is filled with the truth of the Bible.
Our goal is to bring music to the body of Christ on a song-by-song basis, from a variety of song-writers and artists, that is both musically diverse and theologically rich.
We also feel that worship music should be vetted, theologically. We have a group of pastors and theologically-minded individuals who evaluate our songs based on a carefully crafted rubric. All of the songs in our catalog have undergone this process.
Musically, we feel that the songs that we sing should reflect the beauty and diversity of the body of Christ, including its variety of cultures and styles. If you love a certain type of music, we feel that you should have an opportunity to worship God with that music and with all of the creative energy that can be brought to it. Specifically, we're curating songs that are current, innovative, and musically progressive, yet are still specifically designed to invite others to participate in corporate worship.
The 2023 Plan
We're starting with a selection of carefully curated songs from local Colorado Springs artists. These songs will convey a certain level of musical diversity (aka they won't sound like K-LOVE) and they will also be reviewed by our board of theologians.
We'll record these songs - both video and audio - in live sessions with live audiences. We feel that it's important for our videos to not just be "music videos," but to capture authentic worship. People experiencing God through music can be infectious and we want to help share that.
Then we'll share these songs. We're excited about this music and we want to allow other Christians to experience it. We'll share it and promote it with the hope that you can worship with it, whether it's in your church or in your home.
