Tangled Tree Publishing is an exciting addition to our publishing house, and offers the same professional, quality, and creative works as Hot Tree Publishing since it opened its doors in 2015. With its initial focus on romance and a wide spread of romance sub-genres, Hot Tree Publishing is happy to now offer mystery and thrill genres under the Tangled Tree imprint.

 

Tangled Tree Publishing, the darker, twisted side of Hot Tree Publishing, is currently CLOSED for submissions. 


Temporary Closure of Public Submissions
To better focus on our current catalog and catch up with our publishing schedule, we are temporarily closing our doors to unsolicited manuscript submissions. However, we remain open to submissions from our contracted authors

Submissions must be no less than 50,000 words. 

Serials of 30,000 words to 50,000 words will be considered if all serials have been completed prior to submission.


We are NOT open to previously published manuscripts. AI-generated works are NOT accepted.

 We are currently seeking Crime, Thriller, Suspense, and Mystery novels in the following subgenres (this is not a restrictive list):

CRIME that grabs the reader by the jugular and doesn’t let go.

MYSTERIES that are innovative and fresh.

·       Police & Private Investigators

·       Sleuths

To submit to Tangled Tree Publishing, please submit a Word.doc or PDF of Chapters 1 - 3 only. 

The document must be named clearly in the following format:

chapters_book_title_your_name

 

Please also attach in a single Word.doc a detailed synopsis. Please include trigger warnings.

Please do not confuse a synopsis with a blurb. Don't be afraid of a synopsis either. You've managed to write a whole novel, which means a synopsis is a piece of cake. Please ensure you include your name, your manuscript's title, and identify what document it is in the following format:

As Hot Tree Publishing’s first imprint branch, Tangled Publishing aims to bring darker and tangled reads to the industry. The TTP team will ensure a more twisted side of fiction is made available to its readers by adding Crime, Thriller, Suspense, and Mystery with their various subgenres to their already well-established publishing house. Working closely with the author, our team will organize, schedule, and coordinate all aspects of the book development from editing to design to ensure as flawless a journey as possible. We believe in this venture and want to bring it in under our traditional Hot Tree Publishing house and make Tangled Tree just as successful.
