Pontop Kitchen

Kitchen units to test fit. Infill panels, Extractor fan to install, Emergency light install,

Plumbing for sinks.

Andrews House

Building to re-point where necessary. 3 sharp sand 2 building sand 1 lime,  trowel full of cement.

Hanging basket watering system  pipes to remove from front of station buildings, Outside lights, replace cables and tidy/paint lamps.

Swap around the Bottle fridge with the ice cream fridge.

Water tower 

Patch in brickwork around outlet pipe, sandstone lintel to be sourced on site and cut to match existing. Bricks are under the water tower, sand and cement mix 5 - 1 -1  yellow building sand  1 cement 1 lime.

Replace leaking pipe for outside tap (under water tower)

Repair and paint, water tower door and install padlock

Andrews House station track bed 

Vegetation clearance from the signal wires and pulleys From No5 to Signal box

Clear debris so cables and chains are not obstructed.

Weed removal on track bed, ash by water tower bagged and removed to yard.

Flail work 

Flail work around No1 signal back to the footbridge.

Bank between the water tower and gibraltar bridge and the other side towards the signal box. 

Vegetation

Strimming in Andrews House cutting and down to Bobgins.

Clear trees/bushes from around pincer waggon and Shield's pier bogies near Marley Hill turntable.

Staff Car Park 

All track to be moved down to the yard, Ideally an inventory done of what is there.

Drainage

The drainage ditch U channels have collapsed (north of the signal box to terrace junction). Some replacements are in the yard or replace broken section with plastic pipe. (also in Yard)

Marley Hill Signal Box

New podium to be built, ( Like for Like ) Timber is in Woodworking Facility. 

MHES Guttering

Guttering install, Walls cleared of weeds and loose debris, Pointing where necessary.

East Tanfield

Strim around car park and bank sides, and entrance area.

Scaffolding boards

To store back on top of shot blaster bay containers.

Carriages

Carriages in Marley Hill carriage shed and 5-road shed to clean (seats, tables and windows).

Twizell

Cleaning of wheels and frames in preparation for painting by Sarah Jarman.

Can the holes on the new steam valves be fettled to better fit the manifold.

Front of the cab drilled if possible.

Pack some of the water gauge cocks but leave one or two for Tom and I to have a practice on.

Blowdown valve to fit.

Start sanding inside of the cab if Sarah is happy with it.

Cochrane

Pack whistle valve.

Marley Hill signal box vegetation

Strim and cut back vegetation from around the fence lines to provide a better view overlooking Marley Hill signalbox.

Narrow gauge tubs

Remaining 3 narrow gauge tubs (N.Morgans) from around the back of Marley Hill station/long siding to be moved to top area for storage.

Fire wood

Cut up fire wood in van body for steam locos.

Bobgins Crossing - work to restart w/c 16th Sept

Interior fit out. Fire to install. Painting inside. Fit outside window shutters.

Carriage & Waggon parts collected and stored

Collect the items pictured from the undergrowth from around the rear of 5 road shed and put in front of C&W container ready for store.

Kerosene Tank 

Podium to build for the tank to sit on (Back steps down to woodwork shed)

Install pipework for heaters in both workshops.
