Excellence in Graduate Advising Award
The purpose of the Excellence in Graduate Advising Award is to recognize academic advisors who help to create and nurture an environment in which highly qualified, diverse graduate and professional students can thrive. Such individuals demonstrate knowledge, care, empathy, and advocacy for graduate and professional students.

The recipient(s) of the Excellence in Graduate Advising Award will receive a plaque and a cash award of $500 at the UAC Awards Breakfast.

The nominee shall be a staff member at Texas A&M and has worked in that role at the university for two (2) years as of January 1 of the award year. Individuals may receive the Excellence in Graduate Advising Award once every five (5) years. Any staff, student, or faculty member may nominate an individual.
