Ninth Annual Graduate Research Symposium and VWR Vendor Show
On behalf of the Biomedical Engineering Department at Texas A&M University (BME@TAMU), the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Student Association (BMEGSA) is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our Ninth Annual Biomedical Engineering Graduate Research Symposium on Friday, August 21, 2026 at the Emerging Technologies Building.
This student-led initiative, organized by BMEGSA with the support of the faculty leadership, will promote and recognize outstanding student research, provide a platform for networking, foster collaboration, and promote creating a culture of excellence in BME@TAMU.
The agenda will feature a keynote talk by Carole Baas, PhD, National Advocate for the Physical Sciences in Oncology Network at the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Baas is a breast cancer survivor and biomedical engineer who advocates for integrating patient perspectives into cancer research and clinical trials through interdisciplinary oncology collaborations.The agenda will also include talks and posters by BME graduate students.
