The name Student Staff is meant to incorporate all student leaders in Residence Life. We want to provide the conference delegation with 2 program tracks for students.
One track will be for Resident Advisors because they are a big part of institution’s delegations
Second track for delegates who are student leaders but are not RA’s.
Institutions are starting to move to a model where they have different student staff positions, and we want to provide a space for staff members to present on their experiences and learn from others. We also would like to include an advisor session to help provide professional development opportunities for our amazing advisors!
Our goal is to have 35 program sessions- 7 sessions per breakout period

September 20th - October 2nd: Selection period for programs
October 3rd: Invited presenters are notified
October 8th: Presenters confirm that they are presenting
October 9th: Alternate presenters offered if needed
October 16th: Alternate presenters confirmed
Submission Process
We will utilize a Microsoft form for participants to submit program proposals. The proposal will ask for the following:

Selection Process
There will be a team of 3-4 people who will review the program submissions. These individuals will decide what programs will be accepted, programs that will be alternates, and programs that will not be accepted.
Moderators
Moderators will be pulled from the many volunteers that will be helping with the conference. They will be tasked with closing the room off once it is at capacity, assisting presenters with any technology questions/concerns, alerting presenters when it gets close to time of the presentation being up.
Evaluations
Presenters will receive an evaluation QR code to include at the end of the of their presentation to ensure that the audience completes the evaluation. We will also include the evaluation in the yapp app to give delegates multiple way to access the evaluation. After the conference, feedback will be sent to presenters to help them grow and develop.
