We would ask them questions such as “Why did you pick this specific SLO?”, “What factors do you consider most important when choosing a SLO?” [SPIES, 2024, 1] Additionally, we would also ask questions about why they are even considering joining a SLO in the first place. This survey will be conducted via Google Forms off a QR code image that will be placed in places with an abundance of foot traffic.

In this day of social media, it is important to consider the impact that social media has made on college students. By simply going on any social media platform, students could see other students in an organization being social, active, helpful, or whatever the individual prefers. SPIES has an active social media presence, as evidenced by their Instagram page. www.instagram.com/tamu.spies/ [11] Our research will provide surveys via Google Forms about students’ favorite social media platform and what they are interested in regarding organizations on campus.
Whether it is cost, time, or any other limitation, our research will focus on how to manage these limitations by suggesting to the SLO things to consider. Another barrier facing these sophomores is the academic pressure that they are under. A sit-down interview will face all these barriers and discuss how to mitigate them.

By collecting data and talking to other officials from other organizations that our group has access to, we can easily look at how their organizations have grown. Whether the organization is academic, social, or professional, we can recognize patterns that have led to that growth. We can then suggest making these changes to SPIES, the organization that we are researching.
It is important to build a strong base in order to effectively implement specific details to create a plan that uniquely helps the SPIES SLO organization.
