Founded in July of 2022 by undergraduate students Meredith Clay, Clayton Moore, and Ian McGrath, C.H.I.L. is the first education and research-based collegiate student organization specilizing in hemp and Cannabis at Texas A&M University.
The Cannabis Hemp Innovation League specializes in networking leading Cannabis professionals to speak infront of Texas A&M students and provide hands-on experience with hemp. The organization has expanded to include a chapter at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas and is proud to provide hemp-based schlorships to members.
A coalition consisting of the Cannbis Hemp Innovation League, Aggies For Liberty, Students For Sensible Drug Policy, and Young Dems BCS working to decriminilize Cannabis possession in College Station, Texas. Over six hundred residents are charged with Cannabis possession, many being students of Texas A&M University. The capaign supports decriminaliztion of Cannabis possession below four ounces, end of THC content testing, and prevention of law enforcement search and seizues based upon Cannabis odor.
