I attended Southern Senior High School in Harwood, Maryland from the years of 2015 through 2019. I joined the Southern High Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter during my freshmen year of high school and mainitained my commitment to the chapter throughout my four years of schooling. Being apart of FFA fostered the growth of my love for plants and provided invaluable experience concerning the agriculture industry. I participated in Career Development Events (CDE) at the Maryland FFA State Convention in 2015 and 2016 including competitions in plant identification, vetinary medicine, and public speaking. In addition to my endeavors with the FFA, I was involved with my high school track and field team as well as an active member in National Art Honor Society.
I transfered to Texas A&M University as a sophmore in August of 2021 from Dallas County Community College. My current studies are on track to recieve a B.S. in Horticulture, a B.S. in Plant and Environmental Soil Science Crops Emphasis from the Soil and Crop Sciences Department, and a minor in Plant Breeding when I graduate in May of 2024. As of December 2023, I have completed five semesters at Texas A&M University and continue to be involved with campus organizations to amplify my professional development. I founded and am vice president of the Cannabis Hemp Innovation League (C.H.I.L.). C.H.I.L. is the first university-accredited club in America that specializes in providing research-backed information to students and faculty. The developing of C.H.I.L. has been pertenent in encourging research of Cannabis, dissemination of Cannabis knowledge, and allows students to gain hands-on experience with hemp. C.H.I.L. has been growing to be one of the largest student organizations on Texas A&M University campus and has recently expanded chapters to include Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas
