Kendalyn Aldridge is the content creator for the account kenniishere. A true jack of all trades with a decade of experience, Kenni enjoys making content whether it's on screen or behind the camera. Their work ranges from traditional modeling to cosplaying (often times as a niche/deep cut character).
Kenni started modeling when she was 13 years old, and always loved the camera from a young age. She also was always a big nerd, watching anime and consuming nerd related content. After finishing her professional modeling career, she decided to turn to cosplay as a creative outlet for herself, and to use her already existing knowledge of SFX and photography to push her forward.
When Kenni started cosplaying, she always struggled with seeing other cosplayers that looked like her on social media. Because of this, she didn't know if it was appropriate for her to cosplay due to her not looking exactly like the characters she saw on screen. However, after gaining some traction in the community, she started to see that this fact did not matter, and became much more comfortable in her skin when it came to cosplaying.
Kenni describes her cosplays as being "dumb but brillient". She likes taking niche moments from the anime she watches and either making characters of her own or placing a new twist on an existing character. "It starts as an inside joke to myself and it makes me laugh so much. I'm like, I gotta do this now." she states. In the podcast, she tells the story of how she dressed up as "Honor looking for Zuko" from Avatar the Last Airbender, and the interactions she recieved from that at a convention. She also recalls a time in which she cosplayed a cleaning version of Zoro from One Piece, in which she made Zoro have three cleaning mops instead of three swords.
