The primary objective of this course is to instill into the students the necessary strategies, methods, tools, and desired outcomes to develop a successful sustainable real estate development. Guest speakers such as Alan Ward (Principal at Sasaki, Planning and Design Firm), Thomas D'Alessandro (Former CEO of The Woodlands Development Company and SVP at General Growth Partners), and Sam Norod (Elkus Manfredi Architects) presented their vision for how development can shape communities through the ability to create a "sense of place."
