Theme 1: Why I am taking this class

The following students share a similar reason for taking CSCE 445 as me, being interested in new media and how we interact with it.

Theme 2: Music is a theme multiple students shared

Throughout viewing students web pages more than half of them had music mentioned in their media heirarchy, pointing to the idea that music is a very common media that individuals our age consume on a daily basis.

Theme 3: Shared frustrations with media output

Throughout multiple student webpages, I found that many students' challenge with media was the output from the media they interact with. For example algorithims for music platforms or social media platforms do not expose the user to new relevant media.

To refine the media hierarchy, I'd incorporate emerging categories to the sections I created and include specific examples as other students have done for their media hierarchies. In addition, I would focus on more relevant media that I consume on an everyday basis.
