Hi my name is Sam Brokaw. I am excited for the upcoming semester in Computers and New Media. This class interests me because of the overlap between communication and computers. My girlfriend majors in communication and it excites me to be in a class that will allow me to better relate to the studies she does. I am also interested in further delving into the increasing adaptation that media is undergoing due to computers. I think this class will be a thought provoking and informative class.

Content Consumption Difficulties
Some difficulties I have with my content consumption range mostly from the Image and Text medias. A challenge with image media is that sometimes I have to be subscribed to many different services in order to get the shows I want to watch. A challenge with text medias is that everything is becoming short form which is shortening the attention spans of myself and others and making it harder to read longer books and novels.
