The Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band develops well-educated leaders of character through authentic positive relationships that foster dignity, self-discipline, and enduring pride.
The Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band serves as a community that empowers Bandsmen and women to cultivate authentic relationships rooted in dignity, intentionally seek out challenges, and relentlessly strive for humble excellence both on and off the drill field.
As you begin your journey to become a part of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets and a proud member of the nationally famous Fightin' Texas Aggie Band, you will learn about our traditions, culture, purpose, structure, and so much more. Eventually, you will find yourself preparing for your audition and faced with the question: "What outfit do you want to join?" This decision is the last pivotal step you will take before packing your bags and getting ready to move into the dorms. Choosing the outfit that is best suited for you is what stands between you enjoying your experience and you loving your experience.

Each outfit has a unique mission they pursue, a vision they seek to bring to light, and a motto that holds them all together. Spend the Night with the Corps is an opportunity to learn more about the University, the Corps of Cadets, and the Aggie Band. This experience walks you through the lifestyle, training, and daily operations of one of the six band outfits. This is a chance to meet some of the people who will help you grow throughout your time in the Corps and help solidify the outfit you want to be a part of. Their mission is to answer any of your questions during and after your experience. You can also schedule your band audition with your Spend the Night event.
