Google Classroom

The primary Stream on the front page is where everything happens once you get your classroom up and running. You can simply click on "Share something with your class" to post to the stream.

It's important to remember that posting straight onto the stream is NOT the same as posting an assignment. These are just notifications. They can't be graded or have due dates. You can however add links, attachments, files from Google Drive or videos from YouTube, so this is a good place to provide students with updates, announcements or resources. They can also see their upcoming work in the small box on the left.

Note: This is not a searchable list, so if you place a large number of items in the stream, they will not be easily organized, so students may have a hard time finding them later.

If you allow student comments and posts, this is where those will appear as well.
