Bands/ Ensembles

Tahuna’s various music and performing arts groups entertain and engage audiences at school events, local festivals,  and throughout the wider community.

Tahuna’s choir is a great opportunity to discover the pleasure of singing with others and to develop your voice in an enthusiastic environment.

The Taiopeka and Pasifika groups are very popular choices for students, with  stirring performances .

The orchestra, the marimba band and the bucket band are all fantastic musical experiences with plenty of performance opportunities. 

Many students form  their own bands at Tahuna School, using the well equipped music rehearsal spaces to rock out.
