New information about MASKS!!

Double masking is a better, more improved mask. Wearing two mask makes a stronger shield that blocks 30 - 60% of the virus dropplets. A surgical mask (the blue one in the picture below) and a cloth mask on top of the surgical mask. This will stop the spread of the COVID virus and will reduce the chance of getting COVID.

If you are having any of these symptoms, you can get FREE COVID-19 tested. There are many sites, including drive-thru testing, around the Pierce County are. Some require appointments; others do not. Google 'free covid-19 testing sites'. COVID-19 symptoms:

Get a FLU Vaccine this year! It's important during these COVID times. Watch the video; use the 'closed caption' (cc) button at the bottom right of the video for English subtitles (words). You can get a shot at local pharmacies, health clinics, or at drive-up flu vaccine sites in this area.

Free flu shots for adults that don't have insurance!!!

The Washington State Dept. of Health is joining Safeway and Albertsons to bring these vaccinations to you.

REQUIREMENTS:

*Must be over 18 years old

*Don't have health insurance

* You don't need a driver's license or proof of residency or immigration status will be asked for at the visit.

* All those getting a flu vaccine will be pre-screened for COVID-19 symptoms and will be asked to fill out consent forms ( you say yes for them to give you the vaccine).
