Summit: Stop 3 of LeaderPath
We all influence people. As Christians, we are called to influence others towards Christ. That is Leadership
Summit is the third stop on the LeaderPath journey. Summit is about changing our approach from a passive church member to an active agent of our mission. Summit covers our philosophy of Leadership development, DNA in action, our Identity, leadership, and living out our values. This group meets for 8 consecutive weeks on Sunday afternoons and starts once or twice quarterly. To attend Summit, group members must have attended and completed Trailhead.
Video for Week 1: Week 1 lays the foundation for the next 7 weeks by establishing objective language and discussing what should motivate a godly leader.
Video for Week 2: This video covers what it looks like to lead yourself before you lead others, the support challenge matrix, and our 5 circles of influence.
Video for Week 3: Week 3 covers the Commit-Practice-Multiply Framework. Rooted in 1 Timothy, this framework unpacks and simplifies the charge Paul gave to Timothy to commit to a life of character.
Video for Week 4: The main topic for this week is our identity as Christians. The biblical narrative captures our identity as being grounded in the image of God and the redemptive work of Christ.
Video for Week 5: Community is vital for our development as people and as Christians. The Bible calls us to be a part of community and to use our gifts to build up the body.
Video for Week 6: This week we talk about how we are called to be growing disciples of Jesus Christ whose influence encourages others to become growing disciples of Christ.
Video for Week 7: Week 7 dives into how we can articulate our story in the context of God's story.
Video for Week 8: Week 8 wraps up the video series with an overview of all of the leadership principles covered. Then we wrap up with a call up about where we should go from here.
