Course Overview: Biology & Sustainable Agriculture is a one-year laboratory science course that meets the graduation requirements for life science. This hands-on course will allow students to apply the concepts of molecular biology, ecology, and genetics to explore real-world solutions to some of the major problems facing the global population. Students will also explore the concepts of sustainability, biodiversity, and technology as they relate to agriculture practices and global food systems.

Course Overview: This course explores the physical and chemical nature of the earth as well as the relationships between soil, plants, animals, and agricultural practices. Students will examine the properties of soil and land and their connections to plant and animal production.

Course Overview: Agricultural Mechanics is designed to give the beginning student a feeling of worth and a positive attitude toward accomplishing basic tasks. The class is designed to teach basic shop skills and covers woodworking, electrical, plumbing, welding, and basic farm/shop and equipment maintenance

Course Overview: The agriculture earth science course has been broken into six major concepts: Earth's place in the universe, dynamic earth processes, energy in the earth, biogeochemical cycles, structure and composition of the atmosphere, and California Geology.

Course Overview: Ornamental Horticulture teaches students about plants and how to maintain a healthy garden. Students also learn basic landscape ideas teaches students about the Ornamental Horticulture Industry.
