Notice the eye goggles, gloves, and apron. See how he is working in a fume hood, so any vapors get sucked out of the room. Notice how he keeps the glass shield down too.
Observation: What is happening to the coloring of the skittles when placed in hot, cold, and room temperature water? How long does it take in each?
Inference: Why does it take different amounts of time?
Prediction: What will happen if I leave the skittles in the water for a long enough time?
