This April our library theme is Librar.e, inspired by WALL.E.
Our students are reading out of this world as they explore what the library has in store this month. Each month our library activities revolve around the monthly theme to keep our space fresh and fun!Â
Our makerspace features "brain break" activities to practice hands-on critical thinking skills, fine motor skills, and creativity. This month, students will create their own planet using marbles to create a cool tie-die swirl of craters and colors!
Each month we feature a book display of titles on our library shelves, and this month we are highlighting our favorite books that make us "go green" for Earth day by reading books with green covers.
Books of the Week
The library features a "book of the week" based on the theme of Pope Leo's prayer intention for the month. This month, we pray for our priests and for struggles of faith so we are highlighting books from our collection that discuss various topics about the Catholic faith and our relationships with God. Students can tune in to Bishop's TV to hear about a new book each week!
