This March our library theme is Tiana's Palace: World Famous Library, inspired by The Princess and the Frog.
Our students are heading down the bayou as they explore what the library has in store this month. Each month our library activities revolve around the monthly theme to keep our space fresh and fun!Â
Our makerspace features "brain break" activities to practice hands-on critical thinking skills, fine motor skills, and creativity. This month, students can work together to unveil a green surprise with our mystery sticker mosaic by "Stick Together."
Each month we feature a book display of titles on our library shelves, and this month we are highlighting our favorite books that make us "dig a little deeper" and think! We have a selection of nonfiction books for science & technology, psychology, and general life skills.
Books of the Week
The library features a "book of the week" based on the theme of Pope Leo's prayer intention for the month. This month, we pray that war and violence cease and that all nations experience peace so we are highlighting books from our collection that give an in-depth look at the impact of war on civilians. Students can tune in to Bishop's TV to hear about a new book each week!
