RAPID WORD CHART You can write various letters, or words to help build fluency. Children can practice reading words from old or their new units to reinforce words that they need to know automatically.  Choose five words based on the phonics concept you taught, or letters names or sounds and mix the order or you can choose all different words. You can use phrases for students to read as well. You can also use one of these for them to practice reading their HEART words for them to practice. You can also If you want you can throw in a heart to mix it up, and the student can clap their hands, to break it up a little. 

Children can read them independently, with a partner, as a choral read activity.
