MENSA Affiliated School

St Michael's is proud to be an approved Mensa Affiliated School. Mensa is a global organisation that fosters the growth of highly and profoundly gifted people.  Individual Mensa memberships are granted for students who are assessed as having an IQ greater than 98% of the general population. The partnership between St Michael's and Mensa will strengthen our existing Gifted Education program by providing:

•  Further opportunities for our highly and profoundly gifted students. 

• Access to Mensa's bi-monthly magazine which is amongst one of the top Mensa publications in the world, with great articles by adults and children members. 

• Support for our school's gifted education program from the Mensa State Secretaries and their Gifted Children Co-ordinators.

• Access to a wider social network for children to enjoy, and parents to draw upon for guidance. Avenues for friendships throughout the world with hosts in all our member nations.
