The 10:10 Project is a Sydney Catholic Schools' youth-ministry initiative that works closely with various stakeholders to deepen student understanding and appreciation of the Catholic Church's teachings on the human person and right relationships.
The 10:10 Project is Sydney Catholic Schools' response to addressing the issues raised by students which they have identified as areas of concern to them in contemporary society. The Project consists of 10 sessions for Year 10 students over 10 months.
This includes school-based sessions, opportunities to connect with local parishes, a conference and a retreat. Both events have been listed below. Wednesday, 3 September
The 10:10 Conference is an opportunity for student participants across the 10:10 schools to connect and engage in further formation. The Conference will consist of live music entertainment, keynote addresses, workshop options, opportunities for discussion groups and social time.
Theme: “I came that they may have life and have it to the full” (John 10:10).

Time: 8.30 a.m. - 3.00 p.m.
Eligibility: This conference is open to Year 10 students participating in the 10:10 project only.
Registration: Information on how to register will be disclosed closer to the date of the event.
Funding: System release funding is not available for this event.
Costs: All event costs are covered by Sydney Catholic Schools.
Accreditation: Participation in this event equates to 4 hours of formation for RE Currency.

Tuesday, 18 - Wednesday, 19 November
This two day retreat is offered to Year 10 students participating in the 10:10 Project pilot program for 2025. The 10:10 Project is a youth-ministry initiative that has been designed in collaboration with various external providers. The 10:10 Project aims to deepen student understanding and appreciation of the Catholic Church's teachings on the human person and vocation (with a strong emphasis on marriage and family).
Theme: “I came that they may have life and have it to the full” (John 10:10).
Venue: Benedict XVI Retreat Centre (347 Grose Wold Road, Grose Vale).
Time: Arrival time on Day 1 is 9.30 a.m. for registration and check-in. Departure time on Day 2 is 3.00 p.m.
Registration: By invitation only, for Year 10 students participating in the 10:10 program.
Cost: A subsidy of 50% will be provided by Sydney Catholic Schools.*
Funding: System release funding is available for accompanying school staff. A subsidy will be provided to support student attendance.*
Limit: 100 students, plus one accompanying staff member per school.

*Cancellation Fees: Participants withdrawing from this retreat must provide at least 7 days notice prior to the start of the retreat, otherwise schools will be liable to pay the retreat cost in full.
