Post-School Pathways

The Post-School Pathways Co-ordinator is located in Jarnosse.

Post-school Pathways seeks to provide students, parents and teachers with a range of services and resources to help with choices and processes in the years after formal schooling.
Below some of those services include:

• Student interviews regarding career testing reports and post-school options.  

• Lunchtime guest speakers from universities, private providers and TAFE.

• External VET courses at TAFE

• Southern Cross Catholic College (SCCVC) external VET applications in Beauty, Health Services Assistance and Tourism, Travel and Events. 

• School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships in Hairdressing, Retail and Sport and Recreation.  

• Assistance with university scholarships, UMAT and elite sport applications.

• Assistance with early entrance offer schemes at Macquarie University, Notre Dame and Australian Catholic University.

• Advice regarding UAC Educational Access Scheme for students with long term disadvantage

• Year 12 UAC Undergraduate admissions, ATAR and adjustments. 

• Year 10 Career Voyage to assist with post-school planning and direction. 

• Tax File Number (TFN)

• Unique Student Identifier (USI) numbers 

• Job seeking assistance: resume writing, interview skills and employer job advertisement
