Welcome to the 2021 Virtual Art Show for Shrewsbury Elementary School! We are so excited to share with you some of the many creative and unique artworks that were created this school year! Whether creating in their home classrooms or making the art room their creative space again, Shrewsbury artists demonstrated resilience and perseverance as they created their very best works! We focused on evaluating personal choices of media while art-making, talking about our artwork with art vocabulary, and exploring the amazing world of artists through daily discussions of past and contemporary art history! Please ENJOY these wonderful works as we celebrate ALL of our awesome Shrewsbury Artists!

A little color changes everything!!
Artists in Grades 1-6 recently brightened our hallways with sunflowers inspired by the well-known artist Van Gogh, as well as by contemporary installations from artists like Gabriel Dowe and Courtney Mattison.
As our artists create, smiles can be seen even under their masks!
