San Nicolas Island, where the Nicoleno tribe lives, was not discovered by white explorers until 1602. The biome on san nicolas island is kelp forest the the longitude and latitude is 33.2465° N, 119.4992° W.There are lots of military bases there but no regular people live there. The Southern Alligator Lizard, Common Side-blotched Lizard,and Island Night Lizard are some of the animals that live there.
The Nicolenos were catholic when the Spanish came but before that we don't know.
When found, Juana Maria was wearing dress made of cormorant skins, decorated with feathers but what they normally wear we don't know.

The Nicoleño were an Uto-Aztecan people who lived on San Nicolas Island in California. Its population was "left devastated by a massacre in 1811 by sea otter hunters".[2] Its last surviving member was given the name Juana Maria,[3] who was born before 1811 and died in 1853. She was the last remaining person of her tribe and she died in 1853.
