Mrs. Gain is originally from Elizabethtown, Kentucky. She moved to the Indianapolis area in 2023, after living in Newburgh, Indiana for about eight years. She attended Western Kentucky University, where she received her BS in Elementary Education and her MS in Library Media Education.

Mrs. Gain works as the school library media specialist at Southwestern Jr/Sr High School and Southwestern Elementary School. She enjoys reading and going for walks in her free time. Otherwise, she is busy traveling and spending time with her family.
