Ms. Hatton is originally from Brookville, IN. She moved to the Shelbyville area recently after living in Vincennes for almost eight years. She attended Indiana State University, where she recieved her BS in English. 

Ms. Hatton works as the school media specialist and librarian at Southwestern Jr/Sr High School. She enjoys reading and sewing in her free time. Otherwise, she is busy travelling and spending time with her three boys.
