I originally created Tech Tips for Teaching and Learning to share ideas for Technology Integration with other teachers in the Swedesboro-Woolwich School District. As a Technology/STEM teacher, I love to research and try new tools. Many of these tools are great for classrooms and I use them all the time. However, I found that other teachers may not always have the time to evaluate the resources so they hesitate to use them in their classes. Through Tips for Teaching and Learning I can help others find great resources. I have tried each of the resources published on this site and evaluated the privacy/user agreements for compliance to the SWSD guidelines. To make my site easy to use and accessible, I decided to make it public, rather than limiting to our school district.
The content on this site has expanded and I now includes information for students, parents, teachers, and anyone else that may be interested.
About Me
I have been teaching at Swedesboro-Woolwich School District for the past 20 years. Currently I teach First & Second Grade Technology, Sixth Grade Financial Literacy, and 6th Grade Gifted & Talented. Prior to teaching Tech & Financial Literacy I taught Kindergarten, Third Grade, and STEM.
When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family. My interests include reading, trivia, games, and crafting, especially knitting and crocheting. I love to learn new things and develop new skills.
