In our classroom, we promote creative, independent thinkers. We will show you how to appreciate reading and writing in new ways. We hope to help you develop a love for reading and writing. We will use close reading strategies, Socratic Seminars, whole group instructions, small group instruction, one-on-one instructions, and independent instruction to help you maximize your learning experience in our class. The lessons will be engaging and innovating!

In addition to growing as readers and writers, you will become quite the historian.  We will indulge in interactive, fun lessons about America's past.
