We are always happy to answer questions, celebrate successes, or talk through any concerns. We’ll also use email to reach out to you with updates and questions regarding your child.
We will have a Class Dojo page so that you can stay up to date on the fun and exciting things happening in our classroom! Here you will find updates, reminders, and pictures and videos of what we are up to during the school week!
Class Dojo will also be used as a behavior management system. Students will be awarded "Dojo points" when they display positive behavior in the classroom. You will be able to see your child's Dojo points- our hope is that you will join us in encouraging and celebrating your child's positive behavior! Each Friday students will have the opportunity to redeem their Dojo points for prizes.
Due to school policy, Dojo messenger should only be used to send pictures. With any questions or concerns, please send an email. We do not frequently check class dojo messages and will not be able to guarantee we can see your messages in a timely manner.
Be on the lookout each Friday for the weekly newsletter for the upcoming week! It’s packed with everything you need to know- what we’re learning, exciting events on the horizon, and key reminders for the week. A copy will be sent home in your child’s daily folder, and can also be found on the classroom website "weekly newsletter" page.
Your child will have a daily folder that should be brought to school each day. In this folder we will send home student work, weekly newsletters, permission slips, and more! Please check your child’s daily folder each day (hence the name!).
