Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,
What a great first month it's been! The students have really settled into the school year and are doing a fantastic job. It's wonderful to see the classrooms buzzing with learning and the hallways filled with happy students. I'm so proud of how our community has come together to make this such a positive start.
As we move through the year, I want to emphasize how important it is for us to work together. Strong communication between parents, teachers, and staff is the foundation for a successful school year. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teachers. We're all here to support your student's growth and well-being.
Middle school is about more than just academics. We have a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs available for students, and I encourage everyone to get involved. These activities are a great way for students to explore new interests, develop skills, and build friendships. Information about the various clubs and sports can be found on our school website or by contacting the school office.
Thank you for your continued support. I'm looking forward to a great rest of the year!
Sincerely,
Mark Boggs
Switzerland County Middle School Principal
SCHS/SCMS Roofing Project
Switzerland County Middle School has started a four-month roof repair project to fix weather-related damage from a recent storm.
What This Means for You:
Potential Delays: Expect possible traffic delays during student drop-off and pick-up times due to construction activity.
Allow Extra Time: We strongly encourage you to plan for a few extra minutes in your commute to and from school.
Safety First: Construction zones will be clearly marked and secured. Please be mindful of crews and follow all posted signs.
We appreciate your patience and partnership in keeping our campus safe as we make these essential improvements.
