January 2026
Dear Students, Families, and Staff,
Happy New Year and welcome back to school! I hope everyone enjoyed a restful and joyful Christmas break filled with time to relax, reflect, and celebrate with loved ones.
As we begin this new semester, we are excited to see our classrooms once again filled with learning, creativity, and positive energy. The start of a new year is a wonderful opportunity to set goals and continue growing both academically and personally.
Our staff is ready to support each student as we work together to make this semester successful. Let us remember the importance of kindness, respect, and teamwork each day, all day.
Sincerely,
Jason L. Cheek- Principal
Switzerland County High School
Mrs. Ridener is in her 12th year as a paraprofessional at SCHS. She currently works with students in a variety of settings, including helping students recover credit. Her favorite thing to read is the Bible and her favorite thing about her job is having a positive, lasting influence on each of the students that she works with. Thanks for all that you do Mrs. Ridener!
I hope that everyone had a great break! As you know, we hosted a two day basketball tournament with several different teams from around the state. Congrats to all of the participating teams that made this a great experience for all involved. Go Pacers!
Mr. Graham
Scheduling will be in full swing as we return from Christmas break. Please listen for updates via announcements and as alway, check your email. I am looking forward to a great second semester.
