Harassment is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon that can occur in various settings and forms, including at work or in social situations with friends. As individuals spend more time working together, they may become increasingly comfortable with each other and overlook the importance of respectful communication and interaction. Unfortunately, shouting, intimidation, commenting about gender, age, stereotypes, and sexual harassment are all too common in many industries. At CELTS, we take such matters seriously and are committed to ensuring that all our employees feel safe, valued, and protected.
Our employees have raised concerns about these issues in our recent employee pulse survey, and we are listening. In response, CELTS has launched a company-wide "RESPECT PLEDGE" to promote respectful behavior and prevent harassment. We have implemented training programs for our managers, and all workplaces will display posters featuring the "CELTS Respect Pledge" and provide education on how to report harassment. We are committed to fostering an environment of respect and dignity for all our employees, and we believe that our efforts will help us achieve this goal. The purpose of the RESPECT program is to educate company managers and supervisors on how to build a more respectful workplace environment through a series of educational content and videos. Instead of traditional compliance training that solely focuses on legal definitions and standards for liability, this program focuses on respect, acceptable workplace conduct, and the types of behaviors that contribute to a respectful workplace.
