Excuse an Absence

Olympian High School ATTENDANCE / ASISTENCIA  2025-2026

Attendance needs to be done from the parent's/guardian email that is in our records or it will not be submitted/Asistencia tendrá que hacerse del correo electrónico de padres/tutor que está en nuestro sistema, o no se justificará la Ausencia.

THIS FORM IS FOR CLEARING FULL DAY ABSENCES ONLY!

CANNOT CLEAR ANY ABSENCES PAST 30 CALENDER DAYS PER  DISTRICT POLICY.

Students needs to message Teachers for work/homework through Jupiter Grades

*Only attendance for school year 2025-2026 will be excused/Solo justificar asistencia del año escolar 2025-2026 

• Single Period Absences: Students need to talk to their teacher. Do not excuse these absences here, including those for field trips. /Faltas de un solo periodo o viajes escolares por favor de no llenar este documento. Los alumnos tendrán que hablar con los maestros para justificar esas faltas. 

• All absences must be cleared by a parent/guardian within 30 calendar days. / Todas las ausencias deben ser justificadas por un padre/madre o tutor dentro de los 30 días naturales.

• If absences are not cleared within 30 calendar days, they can only be cleared by attending Saturday school. / Si las ausencias no se justifican dentro de los 30 días naturales, solo podrán ser justificadas asistiendo a la escuela los sábados.

• Tardies must be cleared within 24 hours. / Las tardanzas deben ser justificadas dentro de las 24 horas.

• The following are not acceptable methods of clearing attendance:

  • Phone calls

  • Prescriptions from a physician or Visit Summary

  • Emails

  • Notes without a reason and/or date for the absence: e.g. “Please excuse my son/daughter from being absent”.

• Students needs to message Teachers for work/homework through Jupiter Grades. It will take up to 5 business days to clear the absence / Los estudiantes tendrán que comunicarse con los maestros por Jupiter Grades para tareas y trabajos. Tomará  hasta 5 días hábiles para justificar la asistencia
