The purpose of this page is to give you a quick overview of each IB Assessment. Remember that each IB course has more than one assessment. Some of them will be Internal Assessments (IAs) and others will be External Assessments (no one really calls them EAs). On this page, you'll find information about each of the different courses/exams that are offered at BVHS.
One other quick thing about what "Specimen Exams" are. The International Baccalaureate Organization updates their courses on roughly a 7-year cycle. Each time they do this, they update the formatting of their exams, and they will release what is called a "Specimen Exam" - it's essentially a "sample exam" that shows what the exam will look like and samples of questions. These Specimen Exams should NOT be used as exclusive study guides. They do NOT show all the questions that can be answered. What they do show is what the IB exams will look like, how many points they will be, and what sort of experience students should expect.
