Subject Specific Guidance
This document is a compilation of portions of the official IB Guide that pertain specifically to an EE written in "Math."
This document is a collection of reflection questions that Mr. Phelps sometimes uses during the Subject Specific Guide presentation.
Extended Essay Rubric
Remember that the extended essay is graded using the same rubric regardless of what subject the EE is registered in. With that said, IB provides some specific guidance for how to interpret the rubric for each subject.
This document gives both the official IB Rubric as well as comments for each criterion regarding how they should be interpreted.
Extended Essay Samples
The sample EEs provided here may be a combination of both official IB samples as well as samples from past Bonita students who have given permission for their work to be shared here. When looking at these samples, remember that every EE is unique, and yours may not follow the exact pattern set forth by any of these samples.
Math EE Samples - this link goes to a doc that provides links to several other EEs with specific comments from Mr. Phelps about whether or not these would be good samples to look at.
