International Baccalaureate

Purpose

The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

At Bonita Vista High, we work toward this aim by offering a variety of IB courses to all of our students and prioritizing the IB Learner Profile.  Through the learner profile, students are encouraged to be balanced, caring, communicators, inquirers, knowledgeable, open-minded, principled, reflective, risk-takers, and thinkers.
