VOCABULARY: utilize academic vocabulary in writing with proper grammar and punctuation

DIVERSE WRITING TYPES AND GENRES: write an autobiographical piece, reflective composition, and researched composition

MEDIA: write blog/Facebook post

10th Grade

WRITING PROCESS: use academic conventions of English; hone rhetorical writing strategies and literary devices

11th Grade

WRITING PROCESS: write in any format using appropriate tone/structure; develop writing style and voice

12th Grade

WRITING PROCESS: polish writing style and voice (implement in resumés and college application essays)
