FINANCES: introduce all aspects of financial aid and begin signing-up for scholarship finder websites
COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAMS: students will understand the process of college admissions and will possess knowledge regarding entrance exams
PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY: students will understand what a resumé is, how to construct one, and why interview skills are important as well as be able to identify crucial interview skills
COMMUNITY SERVICE: students will explore different areas and projects to which they can lend their service beginning in tenth grade
FINANCES: introduce FAFSA and continue applying for scholarships
COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAMS: practice college entrance exams will be taken and study plans for the actual exams will be implemented; students will be introduced to college applications
PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY: students will initiate resumé drafts and begin practicing interview skills and requesting letters of recommendation
COMMUNITY SERVICE: students will select one or two different areas and projects to which they can lend their service for the entire year
FINANCES: develop an understanding of FAFSA and other financial aid aspects (grants, loans, scholarships); continue applying for scholarships
COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAMS: all exams (SAT, ACT, etc.) will have been taken and, if necessary, plans for re-takes must be in place; college applications will be in the process of commencing
PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY: resumé drafts will be completed and interview skills will be developed both for school and job interviews, and recommendation letters will continue to be collected and filed
COMMUNITY SERVICE: students will continue community service in at least one of the previous areas that they have worked for the past two years
FINANCES: make plans for continuing to search and apply for scholarships and grants throughout college; begin making plans for jobs in college
COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAMS: desired scores will have been achieved on all entrance exams and matriculation to college will have been initiated
PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY: quality resumés will have been completed, interview skills will be proficient, folder of recommendation letters will be completed and subject to continual development
COMMUNITY SERVICE: students will select at least one cause and continue to service that effort
