Thank you so much for your support of our art program!
Class assignments and projects can be found in each student's Google Classroom ART folder. See the links below for more information on finding assignments and how to turn them in. Click HERE for a tutorial on how to access the Google Classroom ART folder.
Now that we are in the Blended Learning Model, not all students will have Art Class every week. We will rotate between Art, Music and Physical Education roughly every 9-weeks. Check with your student to see which class they are in right now, or click on the "Unified Arts Class Schedule" button at the top of this page.
To become familiar with, and inspired by, the work of professional artists.
To experiment with a variety of familiar and unfamiliar materials and tools.
To learn to express feelings and emotions through the use of visual imagery.
To practice and refine hand/eye coordination as well as other fine motor skills.
During online learning, my expectations for STUDENTS are:
To check your Google Classroom ART folder every week for new information, projects, and important meetings.
To TRY each project with an open mind and heart and know that Mrs. Kozman is available to help and rooting for your success.
To submit a photo or video of each completed assignment, so Mrs. Kozman can see that you are doing well or need some assistance.
During online learning, my expectations for MRS. KOZMAN are:
To check in to all of my 23 Google Classrooms (including yours) at least once a day.
To respond to posts and email with 24 hours. (Please keep in mind that I have care of more than 500 students-- I do my best.)
To assign art projects that are interesting, inspiring, and doable at school or at home (depending on the assignment).
To be available for questions through e-mail or Google Meet. My address is: jennifer.kozman@swcsd.us
